We think that we were a challenging couple to work with, given the multiple balls we were juggling during the time of this sale. Scott had the patience of Job. Significant, unusual roadblocks (nobody's fault ) seem to pop up in and around the sale. Scott was in control and smoothly took care of all of them. In all likelihood, we would have punted on the home, except for Scott's calm, patient guidance and professionalism. He seemed to anticipate things that we wouldn't have - and handled them. Always one step ahead of the game, he saved us a lot of time and anxious moments. In our experience, this kind of 6 star realtor service is (unfortunately) uncommon. Jan and Scott were our agents for our purchase in the Vue. We were relocation residents from the West coast to The Vue and absent for the complete transaction and needed somebody that could guide the complete transaction without our presence. Like most people looking for a place to call home, we were looking for the perfect place. We searched and searched both coasts of Florida and were lucky enough to meet Scott in Sarasota and were immediately comfortable and impressed with his honest, calm, laid back demeanor. He seemed more like a wise friend than a 'salesman' kind of realtor. So even though months passed as we looked at many homes on both east and west coasts, when we returned to the west coast we got in touch with Scott again and he was immediately responsive. He is such a great communicator, especially when it comes to quick responses via text, email and phone calls. After looking at many, many homes all along the west coast, we finally found a neighborhood we liked and even though it was an hour away from Scott's base, he was willing to meet us anytime to help us search in the area we had decided upon. When we finally found the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood for us, there was a lot of difficult negotiation and Scott stuck with us throughout, again, an amazing and efficient communicator. He went the extra mile each and every time and helped us through the tough spots...and NOW, we are so happy in our new 'old' home. Thanks to Scott's patience and diplomacy we overcame many obstacles. We would also like to say that it was very helpful having Scott and Jan Langa work in tandem...it wasn't often that Scott was unavailable but if he was, Jan was always there. They both worked together to help the virtual document signing smooth and easy, as we were negotiating from a distance.
